Embark on a journey into the heart of Tanjong Pagar's cultural tapestry with our transformative project, 'Prolonged Shortcuts' at Tras Link Park. Serving as a spatial invitation to pause and immerse oneself, our design takes a playful and dispersed approach, seamlessly integrating with existing shortcuts to create openings that beckon visitors.
Designed with community engagement at its core, 'Prolonged Shortcuts' encourages social interactions and cultural learning amidst the scattered charm of Tanjong Pagar's rich heritage. The project transforms the mundane act of utilizing shortcuts into an immersive experience, drawing individuals into diverse activities such as the Spice Garden Exhibition, Cultural Plaza, and the Food & Eateries Hub.
As pathways extend into interactive zones, the community is invited to explore, participate, and learn about Tanjong Pagar's history and culture. The project fosters a sense of belonging by seamlessly blending with everyday routes, creating an inclusive space that extends and transforms the journey for all.
