Z-pods is located near SGH which forms the connecting path towards my FYP building. The design proposal is to create a bridge with subtle liveliness. To break and redefine the usual rectangular bridges we see and to increase circulation just within the pedestrian path. Z-pods also act as a resting spot where people can take a seat. This is also a pre therapy corner for people to respite in while waiting or to enjoy the 3 pods which is a convenience store to grab a quick bite, a play area with piano tiles and wack a mole. The three different sitting areas are designed for different number of pax and privacy. The design strategies used are the coloured glass facade to add a pop of colour to attract people over, to increase the circulation and to break the normal pedestrian path using non- rectilinear shapes.
