Canvas Forest brings a fun yet functional addition to one of Tras Link Park’s plain grass fields.
The simple and elegant design integrates seating and stepped rice field like rest areas that provide a great view, a sheltered
multifunctional space for activities and exercise as participants in the engage wanted a space for family and kids to play while also allowing office workers in the area to relax and eat food from takeout. spherical “caves” with inspiring art projections similar to those at the nearby media center integrates itself within the surroundings while not disrupting the flow of the park.
The resulting space is an uninterrupted dynamic space that flows with the site while providing extra functionality desired by the park’s frequenters. The Forest Canopy between the two hills provide a shaded multifunctional space as simply an empty space for dance or yoga or spaces for events like art exchanges.
