The Genex Tower is a residential and commercial skyscraper built in 1980 in Belgrade, Serbia in a representative brutalist style, representing a cultural heritage of the city. Unfortunately, over time, the architecture of this space has deteriorated, and currently, the public space around the tower is very neglected. Our idea is to restore its original spark to this space. In response to the feedback from users of this area, we have devised a renovation plan. The most important aspect was the new paving, similar to the original one (which is in very poor condition). The mini amphitheater that once functioned as a fountain would serve as a summer stage for various events. We have introduced new elements to the urban environment: a basketball court, a closed co-working space, a children's playground, and a new fountain. We added more plants, lights, benches, and trash bins.
