Privacy Notice

GoArchitect LLC, trading as Engage, provides the Engage survey platform. For the personal data described here, GoArchitect LLC acts as the data controller. Where our customers create their own surveys and collect responses, the customer decides what to ask and why, and we process those responses on their behalf as a processor.

Personal data we collect

• Account data — name, email address, login credentials, and organization membership. Used to create and secure your account and provide the Service. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Content you create — surveys, questions, uploaded images, and the responses collected. Used to provide the Service and store your data. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Support messages — the content of emails or requests you send us. Used to answer you. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
• Usage and telemetry — pages visited, actions taken, error reports, device identifiers, browser type, and IP address. Used for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Respondent data — answers submitted to a survey, plus any identifying information the survey author chooses to ask for. Processed on the survey author's instructions.
• Marketing communications — where you opt in, your email address is used to send product updates. Legal basis: consent, withdrawable at any time.

Who we share data with

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, storage, email delivery, and error-monitoring providers who process data on our instructions.
• Merchant of Record — Paddle.com, which sells our Pro subscriptions and handles subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where we are required to disclose by law.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Survey and response data is kept until you delete it or your organization is closed. Logs and telemetry are kept for a limited period. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. UK/EEA users also have the right to complain to their supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month. To exercise a right, email support@engagebygo.com.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level authorisation on stored data, and least-privilege access for our team.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and equivalent local storage to keep you signed in and to protect the Service. We do not use advertising cookies. Where any non-essential analytics are used, you can manage them through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies.
